How exactly is someone supposed to select the next page in group selection?

Say you click on Groups and then click on A.

At the bottom of the page, there are 3 pages listed.

Click Next.

Now there are 24.

Whaaat?

And in the selecting a group by starting letter bar what is the difference between the capital letters and lowercase letters? A and a?

They both return the same results.

I've got no idea what the intended behaviour is and no idea how to page between groups of a certain starting letter. It doesn't make any sense when you click on D or d and get the same result.

Clicking on either shows only one page and both are the same. Why does d exist then? Same for Q and q. And what is the purpose of the 5 buttons that all display # ??

It doesn't make any sense that lowercase r comes before uppercase R in the selection bar.

It doesn't make any sense when you click on S, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, see 1, 2, 3 and Next, click Next and then in the page that loads you're at 2 out of 24.

Just how is this navigation supposed to actually work? This is why I've largely given up on the Groups section. Navigation is a guessing game.

Use this:

https://www.zoovilleforum.net/groups/

And then select the category you want.
From there you can either select groups by the letters, it is case insensitive, does not matter.
Or go through all of them using the numbers one by one.

Thanks Pez. That's what I started with. Then because I felt like I wasn't seeing everything, I clicked on List All Groups: https://www.zoovilleforum.net/groups/listall

Once you do that is when the problems happen. It's really inconsistent trying to go through all groups. If it's case insensitive, then why are there some upper case and some lower case in the selection bar? On my Crashintosh, there's even an empty button next to capital O. I guess it's lowercase o.

Why are some letters uppercase and some lowercase when they most often show the same page?

Does clicking Next actually show the next set of data? It was strange when it went from 1, 2, 3 to 24 after clicking next. I seem to remember sometimes clicking Next showing data that I couldn't tell if it was the next screen or a few further on.

It forgets that the user was looking within a found set and shows everything again. See what I mean?

The groups plugin has been broken for several years.
I suggest clicking the numbers one by one and forget the letters.
