Show of hands and yell out from those whom recently switched to Linux in general or come back to it with Bazzite. Want to know how many of you are out there. Also, like to see feedback on Framework's new desktop. Something we have been needing for a long time.

What do you think of Linux? I've never contemplated it before and never used it but in recent years have wondered if it'd be better to switch to from Windows. Used to be Windows was more "functional", haha! I admit that I know literally nothing about it but really my only concerns would be gaming (I realize I may have to give up a few games if I did switch) and since I do video editing occasionally that's also a need. I guess I could look these things up but I thought I'd ask because you sound like you know what's what.
 
Bazzite is the ideal distro/variation of Linux for people wanting to switch form Windows. upon initial installation into your system, it even gives you options to select and thus give you familiar looking and feeling user experience. Make sure you have detailed stats of your system handy, when retrieving your download file for installation. These stats let's the site tailor the installation file itself to run more efficiently and with less messy than Windows. You also won't be bugged with push for other products.

Linux has always been about putting the power back in the users hands from Day 1 in the 90s.

I also have a friend who has detailed Linus specific knowledge, that was very useful with helping me make the transition back... since it had been so many years for me. I wanted the smart option of safe rather than sorry. I can put you in touch with him. Both of us are reachable through Signal and Telegram.

There are also quite a few YouTube videos that are now surfacing and explaining the transition experience by established veteran streamers... such as Jay Two Cents and Nexus Gaming. They reached the point they have had enough with the recent messes created by the Windows 11 updates and Microsoft's less-than-professional attitude towards the whole situation.
