I try to go through my ignore list once a month and remove those who have been banned, it's amazing how many are not around for long.
 
Yes. Exactly. I just found one by sheer accident last week who had been banned 6 months ago. But, my long period of ignorance of that event does not lessen the joy of not seeing "her" stupid shit posting.....

I've wondered about that. I do have news feed disabled too, people are still able to follow, but maybe with the news feed disabled they don't get any notices. Still, it's a function that should be toggle-able in privacy settings.
