Sorry, I just read back now. I misunderstood the meaning of “Missing the forest for the trees”Do I think it's a waste of time?

It means missing the big picture for the smaller details. I didn't know it until about a year ago and had to look it up. Knowing now what it means, it's actually a pretty good expression to me.Sorry, I just read back now. I misunderstood the meaning of “Missing the forest for the trees”
telegram, session, email, phone numbers... stuffIf someone was to make a bot for this, what other things should be scanned for along with metadata? I assume there are other moderation worthy things a program can scan for.
Oh, almost the same in my language. It means missing the big picture for the smaller details. I didn't know it until about a year ago and had to look it up. Knowing now what it means, it's actually a pretty good expression to me.
While you are downloading stuff, hash it and report duplicates as well.Could scan for the first four. The rest I don't know of an easy filter for that.
Then my idea holds better than a plugin or mod, as the piece of software I envision does not require permanent modification to the forum software. It's akin to running a python script - only requires installing Python if such is not already available.
Could be possible. Doubt using something like image magick's php extension would do that to videos. The normal structure is all files are in a media folder. They get changed to random file names depending on the attachment, etc.I do not know how the forum software is structured, but the files are probably in a database and may not be accessible easily in the filesystem.
I should see about getting Elastic search to just access my server that's running it so it can allow for better searching. Nothing special needs to be done since I already did that. Just needs an IP and it does the rest.telegram, session, email, phone numbers... stuff
pedo things like yng, young, ageplay, depraved perv...
I think I do have that in the rules as well. I'll make sure its at least a lot more visible.*Guy's entire life gets ruined* - whelp, the warning waaaaas posted. Welcome message for new users? No. Upload form? No. Sticky at least?!? No. Just, you know, somewhere. Wait, the site found the GPS in the image and did what instead of remove it?!?
You are not getting my phone number.send alerts to his cell phone
I do not think so.Are the mods able to delete a photo by being given the attachment ID / a working URL to download it?
You'd need the full link to the video file. Mods can fully delete it within the thread.Do you know how to delete attachments via download link without the thread link? @dogluver101 @FloofyNewfie
The RSS feed is also a good way to automate this stuff: https://www.zoovilleforum.net/forums/-/index.rss
Sometimes it can embrd stuff like the username of the account that created it and like what version of Word it was written with, but nothing remotely as useable as GPS location.Hi i wanted to ask. If i send a document ie a story with no images or videos, just written content for the story section that can be traced or i could be identified through my account or the file itself? My biggest fear is sending a story and then later authorities knocking on my door
It would be from my PC and using DOCX files. Can anyone give me sound advice how to go about that safely?
I will recommend to upload it in pure .TXT format.Hi i wanted to ask. as in just cut and paste it as just a post and not an attached document?I will recommend to upload it in pure .TXT format.
Yes if the forum post can hold the lenght and paragraphing is not crucial.as in just cut and paste it as just a post and not an attached document?
I think from all this i will just pass on posting any stories. Its all scaring me to death so i will just look and readCopy and paste can carry formatting and metadata, I think it depends on what program it is being copied from. For example, copying from microsoft word to gmail will do that. Copying from windows notepad is probably more secure.
Even a pure text file is stored with metadata on the file system like what user created it and when it was last accessed. It can be seen by right clicking on the file in windows and clicking on details. Is that metadata uploaded?
Don't forget the way you write, phrases you use, the language you speak, the keyboard format, level of detail, punctuation, use or disuse of emojis, and what details you include explicitly or that is deducable can be used as part of identification.
