User Permission Updates and Forum Changes

I may be a mod, but now I am speaking as a regular user. :D
In my opinion the forum has about 5 years to complete collapse.
The admin, with all respect, spends very little time here which we can see from months old reports assigned to him and the server owner pretty much does not care at all and has last been seen a year ago.

I would like the site to survive, but it turns out our biggest enemies are not the DDOS attacks or antizoos. It is the lackluster approach of the server owner.
Sounds like the site needs a new admin and server owner.

I say it's good to have more permission updates especially lately seems like most of the groups I been in for example Telegram just had an influx of new members. It's better to know who's actually real or not.

Maybe not the right place but having the option to enable some kind of passkey or at least rolling-code MFA would be a nice to have as well as a way to reduce bots and spam

I understand the limit, but there are people that are simply shy to speak to anyone, but i guess its better, for me, i dont think that i have anything to post, but thanks for the notifications

Changing of rules to try and stop a problem is all well and good....but why wrap people up in it that have been here for years, and never caused a problem? I can't imagine it would have been THAT hard to grandfather people in that already had access....for an extended period of time, and never spammed a single time.

If they've been here years and not made a mere 20 posts... well that's on them. Maybe they shouldn't have made their 10 to get PMs then gone public radio silent. This is a public forum not a private chat platform.

I'll never understand why people feel that making a few posts here and there is such a chore. You were literally 2 posts off the new requirement when you made this one.

He doesn't even need to meet the requirements, he's grandfathered in to the original lurker requirement change from July '21.

So it's not even him that's the beef, it's the other non-public posters he can no longer message.

Makes sense. I've seen the profile posts section filled up with people begging other users (sometimes not logged in for years) make more posts to they can be messaged.

Just go to TG or beastchat or whatever if that is all you want.

Usually women.
Because the first thing you do once that is available, is ask any women to marry you, ideally with a dick pic.

Do I need to actually create a post or just comment? I don’t have enough content to create posts but am glad to interact on posts. Just want to be able to use the forum in all its glory. Wonderful page 👌

Why in god's name do you think there's a difference!? Have you ever seen a number on you profile or anyone else's that indicates the number of threads created? What psycotic world do you think would require 20 topics created per user!? What forum have you ever seen with 10 million repeat topics so people can post their own unique shit!?

Pull your head out of your pants and think for 10 fucking seconds before you ask something so stupid!

Easy up big fella I think you’re wound up a bit too tight there. Maybe go for a little walk to cool off. My question wasn‘t a cock so why take it so hard.

I've never been much of a poster but I can understand the need to implement the new restrictions. Thanks for keeping the site safe! Also, best of luck on the donation campaign. I've never touched crypto so don't know if I'll start just for that ... it's unfortunate but I understand the necessities/requirements for a site like this.

Hello ZooVille!

I'm just giving everyone a heads up that the user privilege permissions have been updated on the forum, along with some other changes to the layout.

NEW User Permissions:

  • To be able to access PMs (Private Messages) you must now make at least 20 posts AND you must be a member for at least 30 days on the forum.
  • Further restrictions have also been applied to the PM + Pictures privilege. You must get 150 posts on the forum AND you must be a member for 60 days to be able to send pictures in PM.
  • Note: that if you do not meet these new requirements, you may lose access to the ability to send new PMs until you meet both thresholds.

PMs are not a right, they are a privilege that needs to be earned. While setting the bar to 10 posts did cut down on lurker spam, it's become obvious that it's too easy for people to spam 10 posts and then start breaking rules in PMs. While 20 is not a hard number of posts to reach, there's nothing that can be done to subvert father time. You must be patient.

Logged Out / Guest Forum Access:

  • The ability to read the forum while you are logged out as been revoked. You'll now see the forum categories, but they will all be set to private.
  • This excludes the "ZooVille - News and Announcements" section of the forum, which will still be visible to Guests / Logged Out users.
  • The ability to use the search function while a Guest / Logged Out has been revoked. Only members with a valid account may use the search function.
  • "ZooVille.org News and Announcements" has been renamed to "ZooVille - News and Announcements" this is because "ZooVille.org" is a locked domain, and I don't think the registrar is going to give it back to us. You may also notice that this section is it's own category now and no longer a part of the general section. This was the only way to unlock it for Guests / Logged Out users.

These changes are mainly due to privacy and user safety concerns. To view the forum you HAVE to be a member of the forum. Due to the nature of zoophilia and bestiality, and due to the fact that this is the largest forum about these topics, we believe having an account should be a bare minimum requirement.

Thank you for your understanding on the matter.

Another update: October 4th, 2025: Changes to Groups...

As of October 4th, 2025: The ability to create new groups in the social groups area of the forum has been disabled for all members. This is mainly because there's too many of them already, and our moderators are not able to effectively moderate them due to issues with the plug-in itself. The groups plug-in is, quite frankly, broken. If this update is reversed, I'll let everyone know. But for the time being you may join groups, leave groups, interact with groups, post threads, post photos, post events, etc. but you will not be able to create NEW groups.
So I can't DM coz I haven't posted enough?

*applauds loudly* Something that puzzles me though, from what I've seen only a handful of the listed staff members seem to be regularly active on the forum, I'm left to wonder why the inactive individuals remain staff? Also, and I think I can understand why, the majority of staff members are canine zoos. The only equine zoo I see regularly active is @Mare Lover 1975. Again, I'm left to wonder why as the equine porn section and threads are chock full of those that lust for equine experience. Just some concerns and thoughts that I'd appreciate (a) response(s) to, thanks.

P.S. I try to do my best to 'moderate' the equine oriented material by reporting questionable content as much as I'm able in an effort to help the staff here.

From a 'few' years of bumping around on-line (e.g., since the mid 1990's) there appears to be more horny guys looking for hookups with other humans (both hetero/homosexual experiences) than those focused on a love of animals. A large proportion is guys seeking women that have sex with animals in order to satiate their bestiality fetish. There are genuine friends to be had though if/when one is willing focus on love rather than lust. Genuine friendships take an investment and time to establish...

I am new here and I am sure this is so silly but I am technologically challenged. How do I make a new post vs a new thread?

That wasn't helpful lol but thnx
Helpful isn't something I would label most of the people here. New post is simply when you either reply to someone, like you did here, inside of a "thread", or scroll to the bottom of that thread and you will see an empty text box for posting to that thread without replying to a post directly. For a new thread, at the top right, inside of a "section", you will see a gold button for starting a new thread.
