Suggestions

The directions are many. One I was hoping to make it a roleplay group, another fur uploading furry stories, upload furry erotica or just a hang out place.
 
Roleplay mostly happens in pm so that is not going to help the group be active. And there is a section on the forum for that already:

So I think that would not help to make people use the group instead of the forum.
 
If you look at similar groups like this, a lot has died because nothing is happening. And most of the time asking people to do it for you does not do the trick. Someone invested must drive the group and constantly drive the discussion to provide enough engagement points for others to join in.
You can already see this here where there are 18 users and nobody has joined in.
