It's so nice to have admins that simply delete everything in the Europe/Other section, because who cares about the communities in the smaller countries right? It took years to collect a few people in our local post... and now well.. whatever. Apparently we are just lateral damage, because there were a few unactive or deleted accounts around and some individuals that were searching just for a quick hook up.
Better? If the admins are even more radical, how can it be better? On BF they would actually delete users that were active on the forum just to create a toxic environment instead of building a community - here those users (some that don't even identify as zoos) attack in packs, ego boosting each other while pushing genuine users to write something that is against the rules and then getting them banned. I agree that there must be rules and modding, but we are only humans and not machines - I've seen admins here just seeing everything in black and white way too often - users getting banned over literally nothing! From my point of view, oppression and overly strict rules is not how you create a friendly community but just a passive aggressive place with a lot of frustration and anger building up. Or maybe I am just for waaay too long in this community and already too tiered of getting disappointed over and over again.

In the section for small countries in Europe (Others), there was no important comments, some members were active, the rest just wrote a comment and we never saw them again. This is not a community, it is completely unnecessary to preserve its history. Moreover, after 4 pages, someone always opened a new thread for the same country, eventually there were 15 threads with 2-4 pages for a country with a population of 10 million and out of the 50 people who commented in total fox 4-5 years, 5 were active. These 5 people will make a new thread now.
the reasoning is somewhat sound (albeit very naive)... blanket nuke, not really. "cleanup" would imply they actually went over the stuff they nuked.
Debate a little in DF on trans topics and you'll quickly get to 1000 and regain your rank.
