Because up until an hour ago you didn't have the permissions to, and you are an impatient ass who didn't bother reading the part about permissions taking up to 12 hours to activate once you've met the requirements.

I just posted in a thread, and immediately it timed it as posted 40 minutes ago. Could this be related to the recent issues of the forum, a TOR connection (even though I never had this issue before while using TOR), or did I end up in a wormhole any place, anywhere, anytime?
Your clock and the forums clock dont jive. For some reason browser clock defaults to your tine but once ita posted it shows server time. I'm pretty sure thats whats gping on anyways

can we get something more than two concurrent sessions to the forums at once or something? i love pulling up a thread that's heavily picture-laden then immediately tripping the stupid "sorry we have problems connecting to this site" fake XenForo error that's telling me I got rate-limited and temporarily blocked from the entire site just because I dared open more than one tab while downloading a single media item.

is that not your isp rate-limiting you? never had that problem with multiple tabs and downloading something and i'm connected here with tor which is very slow by default.

Sounds like a PEBKAC to me... I routinely have 8, 10, 12, sometimes more tabs to various threads open, often with multiple downloads in progress at the same time.
In other words, it ain't the forum misbehaving. It's SOMETHING to do with YOUR system, YOUR settings, YOUR connection, or who-can-guess-what-else - but whatever it is, it ain't the forum, and there's very little, if not outright nothing, that can be done at the forum end to change things.
Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair
I only get problems when I do large bulk mod operations on dozens of posts. Loading a thread full of pictures never did that.

I’d say this, as difficult as it is to get full access from a newbie status, to free to dm, I’m surprised that one of the prerequisites, is to fill out the “about” prompt on profile, even if fluff, better than blank.

email notifications for new dms seem to have stopped working. got notifications just fine last week. no notifications this week, even for fresh convos.

having issues with the messages UI and uploading files when using the Tor address in the Tor Browser.
Embedded images in user messages don't render, which i workaround by copying the image link and then pasting into a new tab and then swapping out the clearnet url for the onion one.
Also, i've checked uploading and it only works if i switch to the clearnet address, otherwise i get the 'oops something went wrong' message. (clicking the 'attach files' button also sends me to clearnet upload address, even if i'm using the Tor address, unless i open in a new tab, but upload still doesn't work then).
The text formatting buttons 'Smilies', 'Media' and the 'Preview' button also don't work, when using the Tor address
I'd really prefer not to have to access this site via clearnet...

I’m getting a 404 when I try to use the site on my phone. GrapheneOS, on Vanadium browser. Clearing caches etc did not fix it. But it still works fine on my iPad. Very odd.

Why do all of my posts get deleted and flagged as spam?

Two days ago I started getting 404 errors when the site returned after some time down using https://zoovilleforum.net. I'm able to get onto the forum using: https://www.zoovilleforum.net/forums/-/list. Browser and computer DNS caches have been 'flushed' along with verifying it was not a NordVPN issue. Damned odd.
