Zooville Feedback and bug reporting thread.

There is the contact us button at the bottom. But I have no idea what it does. :D Probably sends a message to FloofyNewfie.

Then a change like this would have to be implemented by the admin and that would be difficult on this forum software.

Okay. What’s the best solution for moving forward then? Obviously we want to follow the rules and be good stewards and citizens.
The IP address shouldn't be an issue, (regardless of VPN or TOR). Multiple people can use the same masked IP. Your real World physical location shouldn't be an issue. Multiple people can post from the same room. Using multiple accounts on the same device will flag you up immediately, even with different IPs.

I strongly advise against using the IP provided by your ISP. Your ISP records every site connected to from their IPs. I strongly advise against using a phone to connect to this site. It's very difficult to remove things from a phone without leaving a trace.

I pointed this out with more details at least dozens of times.
You have to be kinda knowledgeable to understand your phone is not an AI box that actually has a mind and thinks for itself.
No, the thinking is done by Google's server, that is grabbing everything you have.
But most people think AI is a person.
So no chance explaining how SSDs work or that your phone is a computer.
From a certain point I consider the people, who do not understand technology easy targets protecting zoos from being caught. :D

Just a comment to say that inside groups there is the option to have threads in either 'group forum' or 'group discussion'. Threads posted in 'group discussion' do NOT have a 'report' button on each post.

Just want to double check that subforum privacy is set up correctly, looking at the /online/ list there is an awful amount of guests looking through threads that unregistered users shouldn't have access to.

Unless these are the registered users with their profiles set to private.

I think it's a combination of this, and the forum software losing track of users after some inactivity (you can be listed as "online" up to 20 minutes after you last page view). You see the same (at lower volumes) on ZCA as well, which uses the same SW.

Guests can look at those pages but what they see is the "You do not have permission to view this page." error.

For some reason I couldn't copy the link in the mobile page, but it shows up here
@FloofyNewfie this probably should be turned off.

Do not use the app. Use the forum in a browser.
Looks like it's not a simple (flip switch = off) type of deal, and may require editing some code on the theme template page container. I'll have to circle back to this, as it'll take some time for me to further research before I make any changes.

I think its an option somewhere within the configuration page. Like webapp or something. ITs not nothing drastic.

There are PWA Setup options, but the panel is very bare and doesn't contain a way to turn it off. About the only thing configurable there is the push notifications, which were already turned off. From what I've been able to research, some HTML code needs to be manually removed from the Page Container. It's also possible that webmanifest.php would need to be redirected to a 404 page as well. The latter of which isn't something I can do in the admin panel.

So I've made two double topics, and just now I almost made a double PM.

I've figured out why, it succeeds the first time but then redirects to "you must be logged in to do that", except the cookies on another tab are intact (I am still logged in, the page is wrong).

If you do login, it resents the POST request creating the double.

This is on latest Tor browser.

I didn't capture the request body but I will next time I make a topic.
