It is time we address this publicly.
I like the idea that:
If it's in the news, it's already too late for them. But anyone posting, asking for, offering or even saying they have videos/photos/more personal information on them will result in a ban for doxing.
The explanation behind that is something like:
Connecting a person in trouble to a zoo forum is not going to help their case. Have some basic human decency.
1. Problem with that.
What if this person is also a pedo or an animal abuser? Do we treat it the same way?

Sigh... fine. I was hoping to get a few more voices of staff involved and a few more opinions first, before stating things out in the open on the forum.
But when it comes to PUBLIC, as in "mainstream media publicized" stories of people getting busted for bestiality, there's pretty much not a damn thing that can be done for them. Once it's in the MSM it's pretty much fair game. There's nothing we can do to stop it, and it's going to get spread around one way or another.
However there are some limitation:
- 1) Do not ask for nor post any porn involving these individuals.
- 2) Do not try to link those involved in these news stories to members/users on the forum. If the story already contains details about a user on the forum in the news article, it'll be removed from the forum.
And we should probably add...
- 3) If you have evidence that someone busted was also a pedo and can be linked to a member on here, we ask that you message us PRIVATELY to discuss the details. If there's sufficient evidence we'll ban the pedo's account on here.
- 4) This DOES NOT include instances of someone being doxxed outside of mainstream media publications.
- 5) Rumor mill sources and unverifiable claims, even posted in a news format, would not qualify. This only includes already widely publicized MSM stories with evidence, ongoing trials, and/or sentences. And DOES NOT include one-off stories.
That's about all we have on the matter at the moment, as the logistics are a bit muddy. We're also still discussing the matter amongst the staff.

We just won't allow them anymore. However, if there's information such as someone as mentioned from floof being into pedo. Then some information will need to be brought to the mods with their username to ensure that member is banned.

That's a good idea too.
All those ideas are something that a person with at least some intelligence will understand and follow. We can't help a user who was busted but at least we wont make their situation worse by rumours or providing evidence. Generally speaking - don't do anything stupid and ask a mod if you're in doubt.
My vote is the same as mentioned before. If it's in the news it's already too late. Might as well allow peeps to talk about and perhaps learn not to fuck up. However, no posting videos, no asking for videos, no asking where they can be found, no trading, no saying you have them, not even hinting that you have and will trade via PM absolutely NOTHING!
