Suggestion for a separate Dumpster Fire for all Trump related discussions

A large part of the discussions in DF are about Trump, who is either an idiot or a genious depending on where you stand. These disctussions seem very important for some, and less for others. A subforum name could be Capitol Storm.

If you haven't noticed, 9 out of 10 political threads are about a leftist crying about something. You all keep starting them because you can't sleep well that night unless you can cry about some political nonsense. I would bet a higher amount that you all will constantly report the comments that come in because offend your spiritual world. So you can relax, because the moderators have had enough of people exactly like you. From the fact that you all open 15 left-wing topics every week, because you are deliberately waiting for those 5 right-wing people to have a fight, because that gives you all the vitality.

And you're still a new user who immediately became a DF spokesperson. Don't feel like a little king.

IMHO, the only thing those threads in particular do is fracture our already tiny community into sides that don't like each other. I don't see how it helps the community at all.

If they want to debate someone on something... they can do it in a PM, or go literally anywhere else on the internet to argue about politics or religion.

Itd be nice to think so, Ally....But its a lock never to happen. This "Community" fractured YEARS ago over "porn or purity". And all the King's Horses and All the King's Men will never allow it to come together Again. The DF was created to function EXACTLY AS it does. Might be the only Competence ZEET ever displayed in his life. That leads me to believe he had help, but regardless....there IS no Zoo Community....Just SNOBS at either level.

If we make a separate section for that, I demand a separate section for all the trans hate. That shit is about 104% of DF content.
Oh, and a way to completely block/ignore forum sections would be nice. (Then I can also block all the AI crap)

Good question. The only answer I know, is that even when the "Pure" find or create a site to exclude the "pornies" They won't stay there...Poor babies get bored, especially if they're required to obey rules. Its sort of like the "Rapture" people....If they get lucky and that really happens, they best we who will be left behind can hope for is they pull their cars off the roadway before they go, and don't come back....Taking any bets about either?

I wouldn't have a remote problem with that, Bloit. The Morons who seem to think they're indispensable and lead those charges as if they actually knew anything won't be content not to chip away at that.

That whole subject floors me...The Head nit made a section specifically for Trans people. Why? Probably for homegrown targets.
 
You know, best advice already was made: Ignore the dumpster fire. The name's a perfect description for the content and you people still decide to go in there and then to be annoyed about what's in it.

People can't even keep political crap to the political meme thread instead of flooding the "humor" thread. Good luck getting them to keep entire threads in the right place.
