(I know that zoophobe means scared of animals, but I couldn't find the right word. Also sorry if this is not the proper subforum to post this. Serious topics ahead!)
If our society wanted to, they could end world hunger. They could expose pedophile rings (which, mind you, actually harm human beings). They could make the world a better place. Instead, they use all their collective effort into shaming and arresting people who are zoophiles/into beastiality (which very rarely harms animals).
And you would think the LGBTQ+ community would be accepting of us, because they know what it feels like to be attracted to something that society deems "unnatural" and being hated, murdered and arrested for thousands of years.
But no, most of them are too busy virtue signaling about "aNiMaL aBusE" to get Twitter likes.
And while I agree that there's some mentally ill people in our community, the same could be said for any community, really.
So, instead of minding their own business, people go out of their way to shame zoophiles because of their sexuality.
The fact that there's millions of people in the world that are in fear of being arrested or even killed because of the type of porn they watch/the type of sex they have is ridiculous and honestly makes me sad for our future. If people really wanted an advanced society, they wouldn't attack people for no reason.
It's not very likely that beastiality will be legal in most places anytime soon because we're a minority, but we can hope that people will wake up at least in some point of the future.
(TL;DR: People who advocate for the legalization of beastiality are smart people who know that someone's sexuality/fetish isn't a person's whole identity and shouldn't turn them into a literal criminal. The people who advocate for the illegalization of beastiality are close-minded people who are delusional and think they're somehow "saving society" while making it worse.)
