When/How did you know you were a Zoophile? Newcomer here :)

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum. I'm a man in my 30s, living in Europe currently. I have had a long interest in zoophilia, but never had the opportunity to have sex with an animal. After talking with a friend I decided to take my first step and join the forums here.

My main question to everyone here is: how do you know you're a zoophile?

I've masturbated to zoo porn many times. Sometimes I feel guilty about it afterwards. I always end up coming back to it. I wonder if it's just societal conditioning that gives me feelings of shame. How does one know if it's just a kink, or a deeper sexual attraction?

For those in a long-term relationship with an animal, is it satisfying? Better than with a human? I seem to be unable to form long-term, romantic relationships with humans. It makes me wonder if the problem is that deep down I'm a zoophile.

What are some good first steps to figuring out if zoophilia is for me?

First steps? Read. There is plenty of material for everyone.

I think that if it's a question, you probably are. These days if you have open minded friends there aren't that many true dangerous taboos and this is one.

The risk isn't something almost any people who aren't zoophiles will be taking. In my opinion.

Thanks for the input! What events led you to having relationships with animals, and in what way did it feel "right"?

When I see men with animals, I want that for myself too. But I don't think I'll know if it's "right" until I've actually done it.

I can completely see how this could be achieved with canines because we humans are able to share a lot of our emotions with them, canines are particularly astute, they notice our body language, and can in some cases determine these things from scent (such as fear).

The thought of sharing my bed with a bitch (or a boy) I love, and want to take for walkies and all that again really sounds nice. I'm simple to please, and I feel like everything I need could be shared with a canine friend.

I've had some good sex with humans... been infatuated before, but I can never seem to make it in to a long term relationship.

I often feel like a relationship with a dog would be so much easier, and I fantasize about it a lot.

Same, but the thing is I don't see any "special meaning" in sex beside it being a game you play with those you trust. Constructs like "marriage" and expectations like that are a complete turn off to me.

I think sex can be wonderfully intimate and special with some, but also just a bit of fun with others. But I do agree human relationships, dating, etc. are too complicated and messy and there are too many expectations.

Relationships with animals are so much simpler and easier for me. And I love the thought of having an intimate sexual relationship with a dog. Companionship and sex, zero complications like dating, marriage, etc.
