Whats your excuse? (for often smelling like an animal)

Actually I confuse the shit out of my dogs Odor wise. Since I work in a Safari Park, I often smell like animals my dogs have never seen.
 
I usually dress into clean clothes from the closet in the morning so I don't have dog odor on me. Well, my hoodies reek of dog odor within a few days after I wash it (I wash them like once a week or once every two weeks, I do laundry once a week) but I don't use my hoodies during the summer and during the winter everyone's nose is clogged and no one notices anyways x3
 
What? You say I reek of horse? What an amazing surprise - I work in a barn, currying horses, brushing horses, washing horses, blanketing horses, unblanketing horses, being used as a butt-scratching post by horses, shoveling horse shit (and inescapably getting some on me in the process) walking through drifts of shavings soaked with horse piss while pushing a wheelbarrow filled with horse shit and used shavings... Does it really surprise you that I might have a good whiff of horse to me?
 
I don’t generally have one. And I don’t mind it. It’s the trade off of having a dog. However come hunting season, it’s a pain in the ass to get rid off.
 
It's shearing season and I am working with alpacas at the moment, I literally have to use my body weight to hold them onto a table so they can have their legs secured before the fleece is removed. Some of them take great offense to this and spit on me, while others get scared by being held down and pee on me. Trust me, I long for the days I just smell like dog, even a wet dog, even a wet dog rolling in cow poop out the back of the shed. :gsd_grin:
 
Good thread with a great question.
Anytime I'm at home, I am around my horse and usually in close contact with him, as well as performing all related duties.
Can't do that without smelling like horse, and I love it.
Also, two women who have sex like animals will end up looking and smelling like animals. Love that, too.

Also, I'm starting to sweat ridiculously easy, especially with my doubly-coated gal sleeping beside me.
 
i have a bad sense of smell. i can work in a septic tank without smelling anything, but i also can't smell myself, so when my dog starts washing me i grab a shower..
