What’s in the bag?

If you were going to be on the road for a long period of time with no connection to civilization what would you bring with you?

the basic rule of the thread is no pack over 100 LBs. If you have a horse or a dog and wish to tag them along you can, I’m sure they can carry some stuff. No vehicles.

just keep in mind what your animals can bare on them as well in supplies.
Remember, ounces equal pounds, and pounds equal pain.

Medical kit, toolkit with axe, knife, fishing kit, and campfire tools.

An extra change of clothes.

Hammock and a sheet of heavy plastic and tent spikes to make a shelter for the hammock.

A length of rope and string. Fish hooks and of course a firearm with spare ammo.

That's just off the top of my head.................I'm sure there are some things I missed.

Quite easy, hammock, tent, sleeping bag, two mess tin kits for me and the doggo, first aid, one pair of dry spare outfit, bar of universal soap, knife, string, usually some canned food and pasta, and I like to have at least 2l of water with me all the time. Ideally some dedicated dog food, I can skimp on myself, but I feel responsible for wellbeing of the dog.
