Ya I have definitely noticed the metallic taste, have they all been the same breed? or on the same diet?

No i think it's the taste, it can vary a little but not too much. I try beagle, gsd, boxer, husky, labrador, berger australien, st-bernard....and other. They have different diet full meat or normal, little, big.
