Oh geez, I dunno, have you seen The Shawshank Redemption? That's a pretty universally acclaimed movie that is, in fact, good. The score is fucking amazing and the movie's earnestness and tenderness are a salve to the indifference of the modern world. It makes me want to be a good person and be kind.

I was never a fan of Star Trek, but yes watch Star Wars.
Episodes 4, 5 and 6 were made first before episodes 1, 2 and 3 but you can watch them in order.

Watch if you want to. there’s also a video game that came out last year that takes place between the classic movies, it’s a fun time.
 
I like bad movies. Movies set in the near future. and Tragicly wrong. About everything. How about Solent Green. Based on the short story "make room make room" We killed the world and eat our own dead. It would all be by 1990. And never was.
 
I have a few that come into mind and I can't just pick one. Star Wars the original trilogy and prequels, Back To The Future 1-3, Harry Potter movies and Lord of the Rings,. and the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies
