I would say the species is fine. It's the culture.... creating illusions of fear, safety and control that's screwed up.

Fundamental, in biological entities refers to that which in inseparably from that critter by which removal of leaves a different critter (or plant). Take fear away? It’s not human (Actually unable to survive, as some fear is necessary for survival) so as not to get into a doctoral dissertation let’s stop here.

No simple answer.
It is what makes American's American, European's, European, etc. A long line of influence by the people, law makers, churches, invading armies, etc. And it's constantly changing.We've lived long enough to know what it meant to be American or Canadian 50 years ago is absolutely not what it means now.

And which of these “ people, law makers, churches, invading armies, etc.” are not human beings? What people/humans are NOT part of it? What non-human-beings ARE part of the creators of cultures?
 
Annoyed is not even a strong enough word.

I take time to post an ad, go through a mountain of applications, check references, pay for the background check, pay for the drug test, goddamn fucking interviews, add them to my insurance, train them, buy equipment and supplies, and then the bastard quits or doesn’t even show up. I have to start all fucking over.

Those types of people have trouble dealing with people. They are usually known as social retards. (Yes, I am one, it is what it is, accept it or don't.) But there are also other issues which may bring this about, such as autism, etc.
