As it says, unexpected moments in games. One of mine was a year ago, I was playing Watch Dogs 2, committing mass murder in Alcatraz, when once my killing spree had ended, I took a minute to look around, and that's when I came across....this, a completely naked NPC, complete with a dick and balls, I mean, I heard a similar situation with a female NPC having visible genitals, but afaik they removed that. This however, I honestly laughed hard when I saw it.

EA released sims 4 for free for a short time last year. I tell my cousin of it and how I got it. She plays/played almost every day so she starts telling me about the mods she plays with. Tons of mods installed. Like, sex, murder, drugs, and I'm sure several other things were made possible.

At some point, she's showing off the sex mod(s), and by pure chance, the dog walks into the room as two of her sims are going at it and just stops and stares at them. I said something to the effect of "the dog looks like he wants to tag in." and she said "well actually..."

Sure enough, she gets the sim to fuck her dog. The dog was anatomically correct but behaviorally like a human, so half credit for accuracy.

So three surprises in one. I was surprised that mod existed, and my cousin and I were both surprised we were both into zoo.

For plot, KOTOR's big reveal about Darth Revan was pretty crazy. Though, after playing the game for a second time later, I can't believe I didn't pick up on it much earlier.

The original God Of War and it's remake had an interactive quicktime event for a sex scene.

And then the DOA volleyball games. While it was surprising to see the fighters in bikinis with full jiggle physics I was a bit more surprised (and a bit happy with) the butt battle mini game. Two bikini clad babes on a small platform in the middle of a pool stand back to back. The first to booty-bump the other off wins.

Somehow, I never had that moment spoiled for me. I ended up playing the game years later via a hand-me-down ps1 and invested heavily into Arieth/Aeris because she was the best healer in the game. I was a little surprised that her final limit break and best weapons were available so early but didn't think much of it. She was the healer in my party. When Sephiroth killed her I was surprised, to say the least. More than surprise, I was pissed that I invested so much into the character only to find out she gets skewered midway through the game. Cait Sith made an okay healer after that but I had a hard time taking a Scotch cat riding a fat moggle puppet seriously.
