Tips and tricks to open up with others about zoo?

I feel like it's rather difficult to discuss zoo fetish and interests with others, whether they are a friend, potential dating partner or other. What methods have worked for you to open up and meet other zoo's in person? I feel like there's so many of us out there but fear of ridicule limits our potential.

I have always been rather abrupt and matter of fact about it. People who can't accept me I do t need to waste time on anyway. Life is rough enough without playing a fake role.
