This isn't about zoo, but rather a thanks to all the furry companions that come into our lives at one time or another. This is my son's dog Buddy, a German Shepherd who has unfortunately been cursed with Degenerative Myelopathy and has become paralyzed in the hind quarters. He hasn't lost his spirit however, as every time I go to visit my son, he still tries to run to meet me at the door, dragging his non functioning legs behind him. He wants us to take him everywhere., which has become extremely difficult as he weighs over 130 pounds (59 kilos) but we still do as much as we can with him.
So thank you Buddy, we don't know how much longer you have, but having you in our lives has made them much better and we enjoyed your hijinks and every silly thing you did.
