Reminds me of when a devote Jew visited my house many years ago.
He said that on the sabbat it is neither allowed to turn on nor switch off the light. So he loosened the light bulb in the refrigerator Friday evening.
I asked him what he would do if someone had tightened it again, so he turned on the light when opening the fridge. Would he let the fridge stay open or close it and this way switch off the light ?
Almost shocking to me that he did not know what to do 😵‍💫
