Nah, no need. The question is about pineapple, but that includes pineapple with ham, pineapple with bacon, pineapple with green bell peppers and onions, pineapple with pepperoni, heck even pineapple with anchovies and a ranch sauce (if you're brave enough), or any other combination with pineapple. The only question I'm after is if you think pineapple should go on pizza at all.

pineapple adds such a nice acidity to a pizza, the sweetness compliments the tart of the tomato sauce, it cuts through the grease of the cheese and cured meats… IT BALANCES the pizza so well

Its not what i normally order however as mentioned before i like to synergize the topping tastes together.
But it does belong in the pizza group the more possible combinations the more you look at it.

I resisted it for a LONG time. Someone at work ordered it - pineapple and spicy Italian sauasge.. I was blown away at how good it actually was! The sweet and crunch of the pineapple mixed well with the spicy and savory sausage. If you have not tried it because it sounds weird, give it a go
