Opinion on the sudden announcement of the RE3 remake.

So, besides hyped and excited. What's your opinions on the out of seemingly nowhere announcement of the RE3 remake?, IMO as excited and hyped I am, im also a little weary. Because thing is. The RE2 remake is less than a year old still. And as good as it is. It still isn't perfect. And the only explanation of how the RE3 remake is only a few months away till it releases is if they worked on both remakes around the same time. Meaning any criticism they received from the RE2 remake probably wasn't taken into consideration. But hey, who knows. Well, only Capcom knows until April 3rd.
Also, I already know one thing people don't like. Nemesis having a nose....it just looks.....silly...out of place...and just plain stupid.

Sudden? If you didn't see this coming that's your fault.
I mean, I knew it would happen eventually, but not till at least mid 2021. Plus it's Capcom. They do make some amazing games, but at the end of the day, they're just as stingy as EA. So you'd think they'd wait until the next generation of consoles to release the game. Still though. As long as it doesn't have a section similar to the "escape the orphanage" as Sherry part in the RE2 remake I'm okay with it. Like seriously, if you're going to have a part where you have to sneak around without any weapons then it should have things you can crawl under and shit. Hiding spots similar to Outlast or Alien Isolation. And not have it be what it is. A process of trial and error, that could take you up-to an hour or more to get past. Plus the front door. You just know Capcom were snickering to themselves with how they trolled everyone. Go-to the front door and unlock it, and surprise surprise it's chained on the other side. A cheap fucking "death" just made to piss people off. Also where the fuck did get that fire axe?, Like the police station section, it's near perfect. But after that the ball drops a bit far. Which is why I'm concerned about how soon this is. If they we're working on both remakes at the same time, there's no way they could take criticism into consideration. Which could spell doom for the remake. Like they have brought new life to the series. And I just don't want to see that get snuffed out.

Just curious but what is RE3 ?
Resident Evil 3. Look up GamerThumbTV on YouTube, he has 7 or so videos each over an hour long, all detailing the lore on the series. It'd take hours to type out a reply with all the details. Just if you have arachnophobia, a fair warning. There are plenty of gigantic spiders and other arachnids throughout the series, thankfully none are in the RE2 remake. RE1, RE0, etc however, well...yeah. they're in abundancespiders.jpg

Omg so excited! If you’re into RE Please go out with me lol
Already taken my friend. Hell I've only recently got into Resident Evil. Just the beginning of this year infact. Thanks to the RE2 remake. I was born on January 29, 2001. The 3rd anniversary of the Japan release of the original RE2. But I grew up with Half-Life. I didn't even know the series even existed until RE7 came out. Of course, as much as I love Half-Life it's kinda regretful. I mean, Resident Evil is still going, as far Half-Life...well...yeah. that needs no explanation.

Half-life is great too ppl have been waiting forever for 3 lol

I don't mind the new characters's designs (even Nemesis, i mean, that thing was once human, so, meh, i don't give a F if it has a nose or not, i'll shot him away still and i find it more terrifying that way). I haven't played either RE2 Remake still, but i think it'll be a good addition game when i could run it.

Gamers have it too easy nowadays. Look at something like say...Just Cause 4. If you're low on ammo you can literally call in an airdrop and you'll be restocked in less than 5 minutes. RE2 however, you don't have the luxury, if you're low or out of ammo at a boss fight, you're pretty much fucked. Same goes for defensive items. I happened to run out of defensive items while fighting G3 Birkin, he jumped ontop of me, and used his foot to crush me.

Yeah i get your point, and if you saved your game after you used too much ammo you were fucked as well. There were many enemies that you couldn't defeat using the knife, that's it

That's why you make separate saves, like save in a new spot after you get done with the RPD section, save in a new spot after the Sewers, and so on. That way you can reload a previous save, just in case. That's also why you always aim for the Zombie's knees, it doesn't kill them, but it sure as hell saves ammo. As for the G-Adults, bait and run. Get them to follow you and then dodge. If you did it right they won't grab you and you'll save fuckloads of ammo. Same for the Ivy's, especially when running to the escape elevator. It's best to just have some knives on hand, don't waste ammo on them. As with mutated mr.X and right after that G5 Birkin or G4 Birkin then G5 Birkin you'd need all the ammo you can get. Hell the other day I just BARELY beat G4 Birkin. I used all my submachine gun ammo, all my high powered SLS 60 rounds, all 400 minigun rounds, all fire/acid grenades. And like 47 handgun bullets, the only ammo I had left afterwards was like...less than 30 handgun bullets, and one R+G+B Herb Mix and a flash grenade. Not to mention like....one minute and 45 seconds away from getting blown to bits, so yeah, needless to say I was panicking but I still managed to beat him, barely, but still.

That's also why you use the ♾ ammo weapons, my strategy was to collect anything I can get around the RPD, and save anything for after Mr.X is off my ass. Using the rocket launcher to kill any zombies or lickers without using any ammo, while scavenging for anything I left in the police station, sewers, etc. I don't count it as cheating, I mean, I earned the thing fair and square, so I'm just using my resources, saving my actual ammo for other times. Of course last time I ended off with an abundance of ammo, I beat G5 Birkin, only having to use 27 Magnum Rounds (aka, all the ones I had) and like 4 shotgun shells. I had 22 shells left over, 1000 flamethrower fuel, and over 200 assorted handgun bullets left (normal and high powered (the .45 ACP box ones) hell I didn't even have to use my pistols or chemical flamethrower (of course I doubt the chemical thrower would've even done anything to G5 Birkin.

Eh, to be honest, I was never interested in the Resident Evil series. I was more of a Legacy of Kain kind of guy.

Fair enough. But still, it's difficult. After having played most modern games where ammo is so plentiful it's practically coming out your ass, it a real eye opener when at every moment you can be hurting on ammo, having to remember to not shoot zombies in the head, but instead shoot their legs, doesn't kill them but it does save you ammo, as long as you remember to avoid them while they're crawling on the floor, as well as make sure not to do that in a smaller room (ie:the evidence lockers room) I shot a Zombie's leg off, then left. And as I was looting everything after getting the Parking Garage Keycard from the reporter, I reentered the room to get the inventory pouch and everything, the zombie from earlier crawled right up to the door, so as soon as I entered I was instantly grabbed by him.

Good, can't wait for some new RE porn
Good for you. IMO I don't like porn of my favorite games, with some exceptions. Kinda like rule34 of cartoons. Some people don't like it because it ruins the thing for them, I personally have no problem with it, but R34 of some of my favorite games is something I don't enjoy.
