Hey everyone,

As we have heard and understand our position in the zoo community. We have been planning to launch a resource that will document our zoophile history, community, persons, and lifestyle in a format that is better suited to the general public. This initiative has long been planned and now we are ready to put forth the effort, time and cost in managing the official zoophilia wiki page for the whole world.

It is being funded by you whom have been generous, (Thank you Philanthropists) and had the giving spirit to fund ZooVille development. We are using a portion of the donation funds to host this wiki and now we are needing man-power to begin to fill this wiki up with all the knowledge of zoophilia we have.

This resource is a non-pornographic, strickly educational, and documentational wiki for the general public to learn about us.

We are opening up to 15 dedicated writer positions for the wiki. If you have previous wiki writing experience or tech experience, it would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in helping the zoo community with article writing, please send me a PM.

The wiki is officially open at https://zoophilia.wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

In deepest love,
ZTHorse

Your "officially open" link says "server not found". DNS issue?

The new link works.

I would consider writing and have a lot of mildly outdated tech skills but I would need to know who all is involved before going all in.

It will be the ZV mod team, and it is funded by zooville.org.

There used to be one in the past. I don't know if it's still around. But it listed things like zoo actresses, historical zoophilia (so cave paintings) how to type of stuff, so it will be interesting to see what direction this one goes. And way back in the day there used to be something like that on Midnight Crow

Thank you ZT for this opportunity!

I know that realistically, we are not going to convince the masses towards our acceptance. But it's awesome that we are laying the groundworks. I believe a resource like this will be exceptionally helpful to those who are curious and open-minded about the matter. As well as being helpful to those who are unsure of their zooey feelings and need information to push them either way.

I know I've had strong zoophilic feelings since shortly after puberty. I used to feel shameful about them and stuffed them down. I had thought that they were akin to rape fantasies. I never knew that mutual enjoyment could ever come of bestiality so I had thought I was just a sick freak. What had helped me realize that these feelings of disgust towards zoophilia were wrong, was information about the matter. I decided to research these feelings and wanted to see for myself if my feelings were incorrect or not. While looking, I often found that the anti-zoos arguments were flimsy at the very least, and completely disingenuous at the very most.

It was my research in the matter which allowed me to accept myself for who I truly am. Having this resource publicly available for those that were like me, inquisitive, will truly be a wonderful thing. This has the opportunity to educate a lot of people in general. Plus, it will be interesting to have a zoocentric resource related to zoophilia in particular, actually ran and managed by zoos. This resource might also be helpful towards family members who've caught a relative in the very act of zoosexual sex. As well as people who have had other family members admit they wish to be in a zoosexual relationship. This wiki could help these people understand why people have these feelings and help educate them about such feelings as a whole. Letting those that are simply ignorant know that bestiality (as in the the actual sex with an animal) can come from a place of love and mutual enjoyment, and not always from lust and rape.

I look forward being in this project and will help out the best that I can.

lust plays a card into the whole thing but its not the ABSOLUTE driving factor into sex. its getting to know that individuals Yes's and No's 1st.

It might be a good idea to discuss what sorts of categories and articles we're going to have. I can think of two for which I might be uniquely suited.

One is the results of a survey by Battlecrops on Tumblr of about 400 zoophiles in 2015. I archived the graphics from that, but a page going into the details of that would be useful as a sort of makeshift census.

The other would be different books, plays, movies, etc., featuring zoophilia in popular culture. That's what Ze Book Club is for, of course, but that makes it easier for me to take each work and summarize it alongside its history and its importance to the zoo community.

You can make any page on the wiki youd like. A wiki is collaborative.

I too remember something like this back in the PLF days, but have no idea about what happened to it. I sort of think I wouldn't mind helping, I have 40+ years of experience to draw on, but really don't know exactly what is involved. Do you give us a topic or word that needs to be dscribed and we elaborate on it? Or do we just pick a topic that interest us write something about it?

Wikis are collaborative in nature. You can make literally anything a subject. Heres a few ideas.

Petlust - like whats the story behind that? Lol

The various zoo forums in history. ZD, ZF, BF etc....

How about a wiki on fausty? I think that is an important zoo figure?

How about explaining animal consent with images or .gifs of how they consent? (Flagging) Actual examples safe enough for the general public.

The wiki is a blank canvas to document factually anything zooey.

Would you rather this thread be used for recommendations to admins (i.e. Extension:Cite really should be enabled) or say, the Main Page's discussion?

Wikipedia has the Tea House for this purpose fwiw.

I will be making a group here for wiki editors. Soon to come.

Great initiative!!!.

I know the site it's only in English, and I don't feel confident enough to write in English, but maybe in the future after the wiki has enough material, I can help translating to Spanish, if you add other languages.

Hey, @ZTHorse this might be better asked in the group you're going to create...

But, I'm thinking about gathering up a bunch of resources and information about how animals (via body language) initiate mating within the same species. I would like to break it down per species in categories (dogs, horses, goats, sheep, sows, cattle, etc.) and post information about how both the males and females of each individual species would let each other know they are ready for mating. (That they want the D or seek the V ;)) If I can find reliable, and ideally peer reviewed articles about it, I would also like to add that animals can express sexual interest in human using this very same body language, as well as any documented evidence about the matter.

For now, since the bestiality section is currently empty, I'm thinking this information might work in that particular section, but it might also work in a section of it's own. It would take quite a bit of time gathering all the necessary resources, so I'd like to know what you think about this before I start.

@FloofyNewfie I have a library of general studies, some of them on horse sexual behavior that may prove somewhat useful to your content.

Having spent many hours on Google Scholar finding subject matter related to this though, much of the studies of animal sexuality come from the breeding industry, as such there is not as many studies I've found on the preference choices of animals with regards to sexual activity specifically. There are however many other studies that illustrate animal preference tests.

Feel free to look through my group area here for some of the links: https://www.zooville.org/forums/animal-cognition-and-welfare-research.311/

I'll definitely have to take a look at it, I plan to start piecing my information together tomorrow. I appreciate the info, thanks!

As ZT wanted us to register in here (Zooville) for collaboration here I am. If you need some scientific works just drop me a PM

A wiki usually lists all the facts while linking to source material, so that kind of thing would work great as long as we can find links to the resources. The forum has the slightly different focus of allowing zoos to share their own stories and discuss the meaning behind the information. I could imagine adding a link to a forum thread on each of these wiki articles, when such a thread exists.

Suggestions and edits are discussed in the wiki group. This thread is for the annoucement.

Hi guys,
we already have a french wiki, started in 2008. If you need help, I can help you with basing extensions, categories managment, and so on.
Could I insert our french content into your wiki ?

Also, some wikipedia's pages are very good, do you plan to reuse them, or make a link to them ? For example the world law against bestiality ?

And @ZTHorse sorry, but I'll have pretty the same avatar than you ;)
Could you make an account for me please ?

I'm very good at catching grammar, punctuation, formatting, style and spelling errors - could I lend a hand? Not really what you're asking for, but I would love to help make the quality of the wiki's reading experience better.

I can also help translate to and from korean, if that's something you ever need.

Didnt midnite crow try and start something like that now a forum not sure if they are closed down? Before that was sick tech long ago.

This is why Wikipedia is not a reliable source lol. Are any of the writers experienced women or is it all just a bunch of entitled dudes who want dog cock? lol. The amount of self-indulgent crap from a human world-only perspective is going to be the reason why people will go from wanting "zoophilia" to remain illegal to seriously wanting "zoophilia" to remain illegal.

I personally know a woman who edits Wikipedia. We need more, certainly!
