Missing Youtube links issue

I've noticed that a lot of older forum posts have missing YouTube links. As in, the post mentions a linked video, but there's no link. However, you can actually still access the video by clicking on the reply button. This shows the video ID (4bg9o3wu2PQ) in the reply box, and you can copy it into a YouTube URL.

Example: https://www.zoovilleforum.net/threads/animal-mating-mega-clip-re-capture.29198/ - video ID is 4bg9o3wu2PQ, i.e https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bg9o3wu2PQ

I only visit this forum with Tor browser, so maybe the issue is specific to that. Anyway, just mentioning it, maybe the admins can have a look and fix it somehow, or just as a useful tip to find missing videos.

It was a change on youtube's end with embedded video handling. Youtube is constantly changing thri backend code that breaks things on links and embeds, it's bern going on as long as they've existed.

Just like the links constantly showing in french.

If it can't be fixed otherwise, and the admins can find time amidst other maintenance, I'd suggest something like a database search and replace for the embed BB code and replace it with plain URL links.

Not a chance, at most we'd delete the threads due to the broken links if reported but I don't have time to waste trying to fix all the broken links on the site, ain't happening.
