Looking for conversation (M36)

Lurker
Hello ZooVille! I am a longtime lurker trying to be more social and find some people to talk to that I don't have to hide this part of me from. We can talk about whatever, doesn't have to be zoo related (though it certainly can be). Open to talking to anyone: men or women, younger or older, rich or poor, straight or LGBTQA+, just as long as you have more to say than "want to hook up?" or "buy nudes?". Conversation is the point, let's get to know each other, share some interests, maybe become friends!

A little more about me: I'm white, single, and straight (into females of any and all races). I live in the USA but am not at all political or patriotic. I have a female collie named Kalysta; and Lola, a female dog of uncertain breed who I took in after her previous owner passed away.
I've got an English degree, so I appreciate literature and anyone who can tell me about their favorite book automatically earns 10,000,000 brownie points with me! 😂
I'm also a PC gamer but not a streamer or pro or anything like that. Mostly I play single-player RPGs, soulsbornes, and crafting/survival games.
Cooking is another hobby, though I need to expand my recipes beyond basic Southern comfort food and a few Italian and Mexican dishes. I eat what I cook and have the belly to prove it!

Welcome. Have lots of fun, but also be aware that it's best to be prudent with personal information. And if there are any issues, then let the mods and/or the block button know. Anyway, so far the pre-flight announcements. So yeah, like I said, welcome to the forum from this island halfway the European continent and Ireland. Nice to see somebody else with a degree (social anthropology here). It shows how wrong the assumption is that only yokels are zoo.

Hey! Welcome! Glad to see you've come out of your shell and take the first step to interact with like minded people. I too prefer a meaningful conversation over just one point hollow talk. So if you're interested to chat then lemme know. I'll send you a message ^^

Thanks, AppleDash, yeah, other than my dog's names I didn't feel I gave anything interesting away there. If there are any issues, I got no problem blocking people. There does seem to be a bit of an unfortunate, inaccurate stigma that all zoophiles are uneducated and lower class. Like any fetish though, more intelligent and creative people are into it as well. We crave more interesting stimulus! 😆
I'm curious, since anthropology is the study of human behavior, have you done any work that touches on zoophile subjects?

Please go ahead and send me a message, ArabianNights! I'd love to chat!

Within the more traditional social anthropology, you would be looking into subcultures or communities and their attitudes, customs, traditions, etc. That could be anything, including the gaucho subcultures in southern Brazil and northern Argentina, or those communities in Colombia where it is a public secret that young men will go after the mares, jennies, and ewes. It might be frowned upon, but at least that way they get the necessary experience for married life without the risk of premarital pregnancies.

It was only after graduating that I found the field of anthrozoology, which looks into human-animal interactions and relations so it would be interesting to observe zoosexuality (participant observation is my favourite research method) through that lens.

Hey man! Great post, and I'd love to chat. I tried to send a message but couldn't for some reason. Would you mind bouncing a PM my way?

See https://www.zoovilleforum.net/threa...why-new-members-cant-pm-or-join-groups.38826/

New accounts will be REQUIRED to make at minimum 10 forum posts in relevant sections (not fun and games) to gain access to the PM function. Not 10 new threads, but posts in threads.

When you have 10 posts, it can take up to 12 hours before access to direct messaging is granted. However, sometimes logging off and back on would do the trick.

Ah, ok! I've had this account for a while but spent all that time as a lurker. Trying to now get active and fold into the community, and didn't know about the posting requirement. Thank you for the heads-up! I'm working on my own introduction post now.

Welcome, interesting introduction... Have fun, and enjoy your time. There are good sources here to explore, learn, and discover, and you will find nice people to chat and interact with. ;) Oh, and one of my favorite books I read in the past is "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."

Man, it's like I just read a description of me lol. You seem like good people. Big pc gamer myself, fave book is lotr series, my wife and I have been in the lifestyle for over a decade. It awesome seeing how active this site is. Happy to spend many hours to come on here

Welcome to the community, what a great introduction! Wow favorite book is very tough for me to say, but Don Quijote was pretty fun and I enjoyed the non stop adventures from start to finish :) Also Great Expectations is up there too.
