K9 Individual first aid kits (IFAK)

Neat video on K9 IFAKs for those looking for ideas on emergency ready gear to have for your dog:

Really though, don't use the CAT tourniquets on dogs. They almost invariably are too large and won't close tight enough to actually prevent the dog from bleeding out of a broken or smashed leg. You can get a specifically dog designed tourniquet here for a fairly reasonable price of $25: https://www.tacmedsolutions.com/TacMed-K9-Tourniquet

Might be good things to consider in case your fluffy family member somehow ends up being severely injured.

Thanks for sharing, quite good material! People should think about that more, when traveling, hiking, etc. with your dog, take some first aid, if not because of oyu, then do it for the dog ffs. It doesn't necererily need to be something like that, just take SOME medkit at all, and medicine, if your dog needs some..
