Is this any way to sell toilet paper?

As someone very interested in merchandising methods, and commercials in particular, I am fascinated by this commercial. If you live in a country where this commercial is not shown, brace yourself for the best, or maybe the worst, in American advertising.
I think this is very cute, but TV viewers may have mixed feelings about it. I think even viewers who are turned off by it will watch it all the way through, possibly due only to disbelief. I think ALL viewers who see it will remember it, and the brand, the next time they are looking at a store shelf full of toilet paper. why not? cringy or annoying commercials are mostly successful . Product sellout depends mostly by the quality/quantity/price ratio though .

You're right, cringy and annoying makes the viewer remember the product, something a lot of commercials don't do.
(Yep, toilet paper won't do it in this case.)

I think all toilet paper adverts should be realistic and depict how good they are at their job. You know, show someone on the toilet, the paper being used and then show us just how awesome it is! Ladies patting themselves dry..... and Wow! look how absorbent it is! Man wiping his ass and .... Wow! Look at this shit-smear!..........

hahahaha at the beginning of covid there was this guy who was selling single rolls out of a grocery cart by my apt. he gave me a roll for each breast I would show him LOL and no I did not buy anything from between my legs ...
