My little pony mare starts lifting her tail when I clean between her teats, she'll even spread her legs some to allow me better access to them, a mare with clean teats is a very happy mare indeed.

Mares get a ton of grimy build up inbetween and around their teats, once she learns that you will clean it out for her she'll come back expecting it. It's one place they really can't reach for themselves either.
