Hi, and welcome. If it's a well cared for pet, with up to date vaccines, etc, there's no need to worry. You can expect scratches if you don't use socks on their paws. It is possible to get a parasite from your pet in certain parts of the world, but again, if only the dog hasn't been treated for them. Hope that helps.
