I have had limited experience with this however had a few questions.
I guess I’ll start with this …
I have tried experimenting with my young male German Shepard. If I approach front on and slide my hand between his front legs and hand over his sheath, he will start to hump.
Once he gets fully erect he starts to get snippy, as in he will want to bite and hold on. I think it’s just a natural instinct but I’m unsure.
If I move away and approach from the front he will snip at me until he latches on to my arm.
Is this normal behaviour?
