I have been active for a while and pretty regular with my German Shepard. I think hygiene for both of us is important. I have never had any issues from him being inside me, but part of that is due to him being a clean puppy!
To be honest, my experience has been quite the opposite where I think there is either some hormone or something inside his semen which I can and do absorb which reinforces our bond and connection. The more we are together the stronger the connection.
I am not sure how much different dog semen is from human semen. I think there has to be some similarities because of how I react. Now, it could just be totally in my head, but I think there is a physical component as well.
that being said he has never had me anally, I think that would be a problem lol
