How long do knots actually last

Does the time vary dog to dog as it does in humans and how do you keep them from pulling out to soon potentially tearing you? I’ve always been scared to take a knot but want to badly. Afraid that I will get torn and that creates a whole other situation
 
Yes it can vary from dog to dog. From what I've found if you taken a knot it'll last inside of you between 20 - 45 minutes. I would suggest taking a smaller knot or a smaller knotted dildo first to get used to it as to avoid tearing. The best thing you can do to keep them in you is either to hold their front paws if they are on top or hold their back paws if they turn and are butt to butt. Just go slow and be careful. I suggest using a lube that is safe for the both of you and don't take a big knot your first time taking one.

Also does a dog get bigger the older they are?I know Great Danes have huge ducks but is it also when they are pups?

The dogs knot and penis will get bigger with age just like a human and it will reach its maximum size when they become sexually mature and ready to breed. Also a younger dog or a puppy might not be interested in any sort of sexual acts. Until they reach sexual maturity.

Once they reach adulthood typically the size remains the same. As for how long they last I’ve always dealt with really big dogs alone so after a few minutes they would pull out while still huge. It hurt so bad but at the same time I loved it and kept coming back to let them do it again and again. So as long as you don’t take too enormous of a knot u should be fine.

They stayed hard after that for about 5 or 10 minutes. Probably get soft faster when not inside of something
 
It depends on how you are stimulating the knot. There is a point when the dog will want to stop which is usually 10-15 minutes.
But you can mess it up a lot faster.
The proper way of keeping a dog happy and the knot inflated is a firm grip behind the knot. When you let the knot go, it is a natural signal for the dog that sex has ended.
