How did you guys know you were furries

Well, when I had my first zoo experienced I started to look for zoo content and I found out about furry hentai. After watching some I fell in love with it, not only the anthro but also feral porn I just love it. I personally love seeing my favorite furry characters in a lustful way thanks to the furry community, a good example would be Toriel from undertale and some old furry characters like Maid mairan from Robin hood just to give an example.

And when I see a hot character I'm just like "Damn, I'll check if there is already some porn of her".

I popped a boner when I first saw the lion king back in the 90’s. The Internet then eventually led me to OG furry sites like FurPlanet… where I found furry smut and was hooked forever more.

I kind of always had the interest in me, when I discovered the fandom it was just a matter of "ohh so this has a name"
 
Well one of my ex's that I'm still chill with introduced me to the fandom and since then I've been in the community for 11 years. She even created my first fursona but I unfortunately lost the art and only have the description of how he looks.
 
Stumbled across some art online at some point in my teens. I had already been a big fan of animals that could talk (I mean...growing up with Nala in lion King and kovu in lion King 2 was enough to spur that particular interest). It wasn't that big of a leap to anthro, and then I found the world of feral furries. Spent a lot of time roleplaying on Kik which really cemented it in to me. Helped me escape from the day to day realities.

I spent quite a lot of time on kik roleplaying as well. I remember joining all kinds of roleplay groups making lots of friends that I wish I still had contact with.
 
Mine's a case of investigation, really. I started with videogames hentai as that was and still is my main entertainment source, then I started looking into furry anthro ones and kinda liked it, then furry ones but still hetero ones

Look I don't know even what I like now, I think I may like everything, not crossing extreme borders but you get me

But mostly, what I like the most is art, I have this urge to only get the perfect images, I feel very selective about it. For me, saving an image has one requirement: If I would like to cum to that photo when I'm sliding them while fapping, I take it. Am I that weird? lol
 
A friend of mine introduced me to the idea of furries in middle school through tumblr. I would follow a lot of furry artists but was very secretive about it for some reason. I let loose over time and only in the last year or so have I really cemented myself as a furry

I was searching for regular porn when I discovered Jeremy Bernal and sexyfur.com with his sultry rabbit mascot Sasha! The rest is history.
 
A friend of mine was one and drew me a fursona and i liked it so much I ended up drawing it myself constantly, surprisingly I'm not that into furry porn, but I still very much support it and have drawn it myself.
 
I've always been into furry characters and whatnot, but getting into FNaF is what really switched that always dormant lever in me lol. I think I'd blame it for becoming a robot fucker too :3

So when I was a lot younger I would play with the family dog outside and sometimes 'play' with him..

This led me to start looking online about this at high school, which led me to furry porn, which led me to making a fursona more or less, since then I've been getting closer and closer to identifying as my fursona, it's sort of a part of me, who I want to be if I could, my perfect self
 
I found a few furry animations on YouTube, I didn't know what the furry fandom om was at the start but I liked the videos and kept watching the recommended similar videos. Then I found out about furries, searched it up, and ended up becoming part of the community
 
What does it take to call yourself a furry? Do I need a fursona or a fursuit? I'm assuming liking only furry porn doesn't cut it. Obviously there isn't that one thing but I really wouldn't want to present myself as a furry to the real-deals only to make them AND me think I'm a sham.
