Tell him. You don’t know the outcome, it could be wonderful. If you don’t tell him and you stay together you will always be keeping a big secret. And if it ever gets out it will be worse then because you hid it from him and you will have a life together.
 
Key sentence: "I don’t know how he would take it.". That more then likely means he wouldn't take it well, statistically speaking. Unless you can know for sure, There is and will always be a risk telling him or anybody.

Simple answer: Don't. You already told him it was a "Fantasy " Dildo. Let it go at that, unless he says something. His penny might drop, if he's open-minded enough. But its less likely after two years of a relationship. It's not the optimal answer, but it IS the practical one.

I have been down this road. I agree with many of the other comments. First, I would highly NOT recommend simply spilling the beans. But if this something you want in your relationship, you may be able to sway his opinion of it by reducing the shock value and/or the stigma associated with this. I was able to work this part of me into 2 relationships with varied success. My ex was willing to give this a try and even revealed some past experience with licking. My wife ended up "giving me a show" by letting our boxer lick her in front of me. She did this mainly to turn me on even though it is not something she is super into.

But in both cases, I showed them zoo porn slowly over time until they were able to (sort of) accept it. I would recommend that sort of approach. You could always tell him you want to watch porn together and then say you want to see the most shocking thing you can find... Best of luck!
