Not particularly. A standard 870 can run under 400 bucks. And shells around 25-30 for 25 or 50 for 10 special defense rounds. ARs can be afforded as well being there are models under 600. A spam can of 5.56 can net you 250 for 600 or so rounds.I think everyone would have a gun in America if it weren't for the substantial financial costs involved. Ownership in America can involve significant costs beyond just the purchase price of the firearm, including expenses for ammunition, accessories, and safe storage. The total cost of ownership can add up considerably over time, making it a financial commitment that varies widely among individuals. So when I hear someone say they have a lot of guns, I think that person must be RICH!![]()
Many of the additional cost end up being the fault of the federal and state governments you live under. Ammo for me out here is much cheaper than back east. Not to mention I’d be jailed for what I do have here because of state legislation. Hell, my 600 dollar suppressor gets turned into a 800 dollar item because of the NFA regulations which only exists to exclude lower income people from buying Automatics back in the 20s.
