Dominos has always been shit. I contend that they shouldn't legally be allowed to call their "cheese" covered cardboard pizza.

That's a perfect analogy!!
I'd say it depends on the location. The Dominos in my town is shit. They somehow manage to always undercook the pizza and skimp on the toppings. But take a 25 minute drive to the next town over and their Dominos pizza is excellent! Plenty of topping and it is cooked to perfection.

About 15 years ago I was in Taiwan and stopped in at a Costco because why not. They had a "seafood" pizza and I figured I'd try it.
Oh fuck no, you moron, don't do it.
Thin little "noodles" of squid, corn, frozen peas, carrots, and then they dumped mayonnaise and DRIED TUNA FLAKES all over the top.
Never again. Never, ever, again.
I'm sure it does, although it shouldn't -- the whole point of a franchise is to standardize things as much as possible.
But I had to drive through central Illinois one time, and stopped at a Denny's for a middle-of-the-night meal. Whoever the chef was that night, he/she was a culinary genius. The lightest, fluffiest omelet I've ever had, absolutely perfect. I made a point of going through there and stopping at night whenever possible after that.
Sadly, that location had been turned into something else the last time I went through. Not even sure it was still a restaurant.
Oh, I went to another Denny's a few years later, thinking maybe I'd get lucky again. Horrible.

I can only name one thats from a truck stop at their hot food counter. Strangely, its like some locations its decent, and others it's like they just didn't care. Such as one I've always gone to where I used to live and it was always burnt, like it was sitting under the warmer for days.
