Good filming rig suggestions

I'm looking to get into filming some dog scenes eventually, and I have setups for a couple cameras to do static wide shots, but am looking to get a new camera to do close ups and to be able to move around with easily. Looking at either just a small handheld type thing or a camera on a pole if anyone has experience with filming dog scenes and would like to share their knowledge

I remember hearing from some important threads people forgot to check out, or miss them altogether because of the slop, related to how expensive filming gear can get you in trouble. So I don't think you need to go with something performant, put popular
