Favorite lunches from when you were in school.

So, who here has some memorable lunches?, For me, the snacks in combination with the pizza, tasted absolutely delicious.
As for my 2nd favourite thing, these babies, I tell you, they were one of the things that actually made me want to go-to school, they were that fucking good.

I don't know why, but I always loved the fried fish patties.
I did also love the pizza, even in spite of it being terrible pizza by pizza standards.

The pizza dippers were so good graduated students had their younger siblings smuggle them out for them.

Also taco/nacho days. The day where practically nobody packed lunch and lines were twice as long as usual. In high school kids would skip class to go to lunch multiple times (we had 4 lunch periods...so yeah).

Quick honorable mention: grilled cheese. Mostly because we got fudgesicles on those days.

I was rather surprised that my school had fried catfish every week and knew how to make it.
It was pretty good.
Every other day but that one I brought my own lunch

Omg those cheese stick things XD they were so damn good. They eventually stopped serving them because they were not healthy enough but they were so good haha especially for school lunch standards.

I grew up in the Soviet Union, we had drywall for lunch and nuclear waste to drink. You never saw me complain, because to do so would mean your very existence would be wiped from history!

Kidding of course! I loved pizza and chocolate milk from K-8 while our high school had beef nachos on Fridays, which was my favorite.

Yeah....fish sticks and oven fries werent bad, but the topper of all toppers was muffin pizzas and coleslaw. I STILL, after almost 60 years eat slaw with pizza

Anybody else remember Cowboy Bread? I'm pretty sure it was just budget coffee cake but I loved that shit.

I can't really think of anything meal wise, but where I went in 6th grade they would also sell slushies, slim jims, general junk food. A way for the school to take in more money I suppose.

In high school I loved my schools breakfast burritos.
