Don’t Wake the Mods!

Been a zoo my whole life, even before the sexual/romantic attraction was there. I wasn’t really aware it was so frowned upon by the general public until I got access to the internet later in life lol. Uneducated people just going along with the antis is a big reason we are hated so much. Although it would be nice to not have to hide the love I feel for my mate, it doesn’t bother me much. I’m going to live my life and be happy regardless of what everyone else thinks

I think that's important in life, is to just be happy. hard agree that uneducated people are going with the popular opinion, people are saying "zoo man bad" without really thinking about it. I will say that despite we got a lot of progress to make we've moved forward in a sense where we can actually talk to each other on a safe space in real time, and that's what really makes me smile here. 84

Interesting if we found that in the same place lol. Being zoo is like being anything else, you can do it right or wrong. But not everyone is doing it wrong. I never understood how other sexual minorities could scream for acceptance then turn around and cast hate at zoo's. Furries and otherkin being at the top of that list.

oh yeah definitely, I can genuinely psychologically understand as to why because there's a harsh stereotype that generally puts them here (especially along with murrsuits within the furry fandom) I'm furry and otherkin myself so it's a bit conflicting, hopefully eventually we do get accepted by general society and those two communities would work on how they view us. 92
