Hellbeast is mistaken. But just to be on the safe side I deleted one of his posts here, reloaded, and then brought it back, then reloaded the page again. 130 counted messages before deletion, 130 counted posts afterwards, and still 130 after bringing it back.

Yeah, did a tiny post spree myself to see if it effected my count, but seems to be operating as intended.
