Doggo not licking himself

So towards the end of the act, when the prostatic fluid is coming out, my dog usually doesn't lick his penis at all. He'll keep licking me or whatever ended up on the floor but just doesn't want to hear about keeping his own penis moist, even when it's time for him to retract it into the sheath he just does it buy stretching/taking longer steps.
Does anyone's else partner not lick himself when erect? What do you think might be the cause of this behaviour?

This is normal for a male dog, their penis is very sensitive and licking is too stimulating for them. Those that do usually do it by accident in excitement and give themselves a shock in the process, or if their penis gets stuck going back into the sheath.
