Would never hurt her in any way and yes i do visit the vet even for the tiniest issue with her.
The vet here is so nice that most of the time i don't have to pay for a normal checkup

Awesome! I wish I had a vet like that. Every time I gotta take one of mine it's always at least a couple hundred dollars. He's a good vet but damn! Lol

She is still quite young. Larger dogs like huskys take longer to mature than others. That and she is probably in the first stage of her heat known as proestrus. Her body is full to the brim with estrogen and she probably going crazy. Lol

Smaller breeds might have three heat cycles a year and giant breeds might only have one but your large breed girl will probably have two.
Lol. Iv never experienced that myself but I do know they are very stretchy and elastic. I wouldn't worry about it too much but still keep an eye on her just in case.

My experience is that the vulva gets bigger and fluffier yes. But are you able to penetrate deeper in the missionary position : no.
She might be even more shallow than off heat and more easy to penetrate.
But in doggy style position is where the magic happens so you might want to try that.
The results might vary if you are able to penetrate her inner ring or not.

Well we mainly do missionary position on the side and doggystyle laying down on the side to but we never done dogyystyle with her standing up.

For the first year I had my female newfoundland she would often get tighter towards the beginning of her heat cycle. Not so tight that I couldn't penetrate her fully, but definitely tight enough that I definitely noticed a difference. However towards the middle of her heat cycle she'd 180 and actually feel looser than when not in heat. After about a year this went away and she became more open throughout the entire heat cycle. At the time she was a little over 2, so it might be more common with younger females. But I couldn't vouch for that with any honest certainty.

As for my own girl, I have also noticed she gets a bit tighter as she goes into heat. Her lady bits puff up, making for a closer squeeze.

Completely normal. Every bitch is different, some swell a lot and some don’t swell at all. But completely normal and common for a bitch to swell and be much tighter in heat vs out of heat. They usually tend to loosen up on the tail end of their heat before going back to normal.

It can happen. My girl seems to have slipped into a post pregnancy heat, but unlike usual, she's tightened up and rejecting. I've heard of it with other dogs too, both with and without having a pregnancy.
I wouldn't worry, she may just need a break an she'll bounce back.

A dogs body works in a mysterious way same as human females but the different is is that dogs would never argue over the smallest things
