Dog "gag" reflex

In several pup videos i have noticed that some pups have some sort of gagging reflex while they knotting. Does anyone know is that normal and why they doing it? One of the videos in below.

I have niticed that in some dogs with this body type and head type. I think it may have something to do with their anatomy. Some of these breeds have difficulty even mating normally or to even breath normally.

i think the dog just ate before humping and the movement made the contents of his stomach try to go back up, the vid starts when they are already tied, you don't know how much humping got them there... there's a reason dogs (especially larger breeds) should rest for a bit after being fed, same reason gastric torsion is a thing in dogs actually. their stomachs are loose and not in pretty much fixed position like ours.
