Does your animal companion have a special song.

So I came across this song years ago and my dog seemed to love it. :gsd_happysmile: Perhaps because it has lots of strange sounds, perhaps because it has his favourite words in it "Come on lets GO!" which usually meant going for a walk. Or perhaps it was the fact I would dance around the room when it came on like a nut and got him all excited. :gsd_whistle:

So is there a song that says your special animal to you when you here it?

I have a friend who say this is the song for his girl, because they both love it when she is in season.

I don't even remember how it started but Soria's Song from The Legend of Zelda became the "feed you" song for my dogs. Just the initial beat is enough to get them jumping, spinning, and running around the house waiting for me to feed them.

Oh, and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song gets them super excited at first and then they slow down and realize it was just a tease.

I don’t have a dog yet but when I do I just know the first song I’ll try is “ain’t no mountain high enough” by Marvin Gaye

If my Newfie girl and I were to have a theme song, it would have to be Closer by Nine Inch Nails. It's a song about being Godless and fucking like an animal. I'd say that fits us perfectly.

But when it comes to love I'm dedicated to my dogs and I've promised I'll be their until their dying breath. Through think and thin it does not matter. No Matter What from Papa Roach would be a better theme for love's sake.

That says it goes for close to 10 minutes, I hope you didn't make them wait that long before the food bowl magically fills up for them.

If your talking love, I think the Seekers have this little number that fits how I feel about a my boy.

or slightly less old school is

Tippy & I used to make love to "Hang on Sloopy" by The McCoys and "Crimson & Clover" by Tommy James & The Shondells, with others in the mix after them. She only had to hear the first few beats to get excited and take her favorite position in bed, on her back dusting hell out of the sheets with her tail and whining.

My horse seems to enjoy string quartet.
When the Andy Griffith theme song comes on, he turns his head to the TV if he isn't already "looking" at the TV.
I'm stopping short of saying he actually "watches" TV, but hey, who knows.

And why shouldn't he watch TV, we all have to spend our time somehow. Who knows maybe a add might come on with a cute filly or stallion (if he's into that sort of thing.)

Why do birds suddenly appear ( carpenters sing?) But has to be sung in his voice !!
Well now I have to ask what wondrous creature "he" is, I got a chuckle at the thought of that song being sung in say a really deep voice of an large canine.
