Do you need monogamy, to feel like you’re in a stable relationship?

No. Sexual and romantic feelings are very separate for me, so I actually prefer being very sexually open. Feelings getting in the way of things though is a big no-no and is a surefire way to make me feel bad.
 
That`s a matter for a particular dynamic. Do *I* need monogamy? No, I am poly and always have been. I tried it and it didn`t work for me.
However, a lot of people thrive in it.
Asking a poly to be mono or vice versa is like asking a gay man to be straight.
