I wanted to start a thread about movies/film/tv where the remake is better than the original. While some originals are untouchable and you truly can't "fuck with the original." Sometimes the remake out does itself.
I'll start! The american remake of Ringu. I feel The Ring is far superior, that is not saying Ringu is bad because it's a pioneer of J-Horror and is very influential and an overall amazing film. I just think the remake was just as good and then some. Additionally, the ring is one of my favorite movies of all time!
