Ever since I hit puberty, I've always fantasized about having sex with animals. But this would then transform to me exclusively liking yiff and furry porn, I don't think I would ever have sex with an animal. But looking at them does arouse me, and the thought of being romantically involved with an animal does make me feel happy!

I've always thought that sex with people is disgusting, that's why I've always identified with the asexual community. Even romance with people has been troublesome, that's why I also identify with the aromantic community.

Is it possibly a zoophile to have romantic feelings exclusively to animals? The thought of being romantically involved with a human doesn't sit right with me and always causes problems. I know that there are zoophiles that are exclusively sexually attracted to animals and only have sex with animals. Like wise with me I'm only sexually attracted to animals but I wouldn't have sex with one.

Though is it possible to feel romantic attraction to only animals and not people? I would love to hear your thoughts on this!

That is true! One can definitely be asexual but still have romantic feelings towards other people. But I have a nagging feeling the reason why I may identify as asexual and aromantic is that my romantic and sexual tendencies are only exclusive to animals. But I'm not sure how to "prove" this.

The thing is that when I fantasize about doing sexual stuff to animals, I imagine myself as an animal and that we would both be anthropomorphic with human thoughts and feelings. Since this is impossible irl, having sex with animals doesn't really click with me. Though looking at the features of an animal still does sexually arouse me.

I see, that actually does make a lot of sense to me! I feel what you've said does ring true for me. Otherwise, it may need a deeper look into why these aspects appeal to you.
It could be that, since you don't seem to want an active partner, you could find a few toys that sate your desire along with media.

I feel the same way! I feel that I would only be interested in relationships with animals, at best fictionally. I still wonder how a romantic relationship with an animal world work, but if they had the same level of communication as some humans, I would totally be only dating animals from now on haha.

I have a lack of desire to be with a human. Having sex with a human is disgusting and maybe even traumatizing for me. I've tried it once, I was horrified. I would define it as, "A mutual feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love between two living things." Like the partner would be very concerned for me and my well being, and loves me affectionately go the point that above platonic feelings. Them seeing me as their mate and etc.

The animal's feelings aren't just platonic, if the animal pesters you until you give in to sex. Another sign would be that the animal does not accept other possible sexual partners around you.

But does the animal experience the same romantic feelings that we have? That's difficult to tell. Can we even prove that our neighbors feel the same for their partners as we do for ours?
