Before BeastForum shut down in 2019, some friends and I put our heads together and constructed some tools to download an archive of the forum, including all of its posts and files, before the forum could shut down. We were mostly successful. Except for a couple of very large threads that crashed the forum every time we tried to access them, we were able to download basically everything. Over 235,000 topics, 9.5 million posts, and over 1 TB of files.

For the last few years, we've been working to build an archive of the site that you could download and browse offline. We're nearly done. The only problem is the size. Finding somewhere to host downloads of something this large is difficult, especially when you don't want it to be traced back to you, which we don't. We're eager to share this with you all, it's just hard to make it happen.

So I have a few questions for you:

1. Does anyone have specific ideas on how I could make this available? We have web hosting space for the files, but we'd rather not distribute them directly from there. Please feel free to PM me if you'd like to discuss this in private.

2. Are there any specific subforums or topics that some of you are particularly interested in? If there's enough interest, I might be able to make some of those available ahead of the full archive.

And if you have any questions for us about this project, feel free to ask. We'll do our best to answer.
 
Sounds like y’all are technically savvy. My guess would be to find a way to host peer to peer. I’ve always wondered why websites couldn’t be hosted that way…

The archives would be much too large to post on this site. Some of the forums have over 100 GB of files attached to them.

Peer-to-peer file transfers like BitTorrent allow anyone to see the IP addresses of other users downloading the file. That would put anyone downloading these files at risk.

Hosting the files on Tor is one option I'm considering, but it would make it difficult to access. I'm interested in anything that might make it easier.

then if you have a server that can handle it maybe put it there and just give people links?

Me personally I'm interested in the animal mating section
 
I'm very interested in the woman/dog section. But it sounds like TOR is the only way to guarantee that it is not traced back to you. It will be clumsy, but it is a good first attempt.
 
thanks for posting this, really hoping to see this at some point, considering wayback machine blocks beastforum and archive.is doesn't have much at all of discussions archived. primarily i am interested in text discussions, before any media/files.

something like mega could be used with encryption at least for text archives (no media), the 1tb of files is a lot, and would need bittorrent (with vpns of course), hosted on tor, or some host with very lenient policies. i happen to be familiar with some hosts matching that description, pm me for info.

i am unaware of a torrent containing the forum threads from the site, only ones of porn. i am primarily interested in reading the discussion posts that were on beastforum which i can't find anywhere except for a few on archive.is.

And you may find bits and pieces but there is no collected work....I have some, mostly personal comm, and things that concern me only....and thats pretty much whats left.
 
No great loss IMO as BeastForum was exactly what it purported to be, a place for bestialists (and fetishists) to find their 'pot of gold' sadly with only a small smattering of zoophiles. There is a distinct difference between a zoophile/zoosexual and a bestialsit/fetishist. I'm no 'zooier than thou' individual but honestly bestialists/festishists disgust me. Being the misanthrope that I am I think Thanos had the 'right' idea. Overall humans and 'humanity' are a sorry, self-absorbed, unloving lot!

is there any update to this? i am still interested in the discussion sections, could you please make a few more posts on the forum somewhere so that you can pm me?
 
there should be a section just for beastforum so people could post what they have and maybe get back the full collection
 
I'm interested in the text posts. Didn't somebody already make an archive of those some years ago?

No wonder Beaker said he was surprised the software running BF hadn't crashed.
